Hey Lewis,
Check out this week's version of the Kunstlercast/padcast at: http://kunstlercast.com/ JHK rips into recent era university architecture and touches on parking lots quite a bit. It's a bit longish but gives quite a few great hyperbolic talking points to retain. Something like: in our quest to get people into parking spots close to their destinations we end up creating ugly places that nobody wants to be.
